Lab may be seen as any other traditional web programming class. BUT it goes hand-in-hand with studio. Students are simultanouesly executing prototypes meeting media standards while integrating unique design methodologies developed in studio. As they learn to articulate concept in applied projects, students practic and play around issues related to user experiences.
HTML stands for Hyper-Text Markup Language. HTML is a language primarily used by web pages and other interactive media. The HTML language specifies a variety of design and usability characteristics that are rendered by the Browser that displays them.
A hyperlink, or simply a link, is a reference in a hypertext document to another document or other resource. Hyperlinks are part of the foundation of the World Wide Web created by Tim Berners-Lee. Tim Berners-Lee saw the possibility of using hyperlinks to link every unit of information to any other unit of information over the Internet.
Metadata is machine understandable information about web resources or other things. The phrase “machine understandable” is key. We are talking here about information which software agents can use in order to make life easier for us, ensure we obey our principles, the law, check that we can trust what we are doing, and make everything work more smoothly and rapidly. Metadata has well defined semantics and structure.
